Martie Kwasny
Martie Kwasny is Executive Director of Quiet Waters, a ministry dedicated to serving individuals and families affected by disability, disease, and disorder through respite, retreats, and Biblical care. She studied Special Education at LSU and Counseling at Regent University.
Martie directed the Special Needs Ministry at Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church for thirteen years and served on the Presbyterian Church in America's Special Needs Committee for a decade. She also spent seventeen years with Joni and Friends, helping establish ministries across Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama while coordinating disability ministry efforts throughout India.
A passionate advocate for inclusion and belonging, Martie brings both professional expertise and personal experience to her work, including her current role as a caregiver for her aging mother. Martie and her husband, John, have eight children and a growing number of grandchildren.
