Jay McDaniel
Jay McDaniel currently serves as Executive Director of the Mississippi Gaming Commission, a role he has held since 2011, having first joined the agency as Deputy Director.
Within the Mississippi Bar, he serves as Chair of the Gaming Section.
He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Mississippi State University and a J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law, where he has also served as an adjunct professor.
Before entering regulatory work, Mr. McDaniel practiced litigation with Butler Snow LLP, handling product liability, commercial disputes, and general litigation matters.
Director McDaniel resides in Brandon, Mississippi, with his wife, Carly, and their two children.
