
E. Vincent Davis
Judge E. Vincent Davis, a native of Prentiss, Mississippi, has dedicated his life to public service across both law and legislature.
A proud graduate of Jefferson County High School and Alcorn State University (B.S., 1985), he earned his J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law in 1989.
Judge Davis started in private practice before being appointed Assistant District Attorney for Mississippi’s 6th Circuit Court District in January 1995. He was elected to the Mississippi Senate in 2007 and served during the 2008 and 2009 legislative sessions.
In December 2009, he was appointed Chancery Judge for the 17th Chancery Court District, where he continues to serve Adams, Claiborne, Jefferson, and Wilkinson counties.
Known for his deep ties to Fayette and his steadfast commitment to justice, Judge Davis brings wisdom, humility, and a strong sense of place to every courtroom and every conversation.
