Jim Rosenblatt
Jim Rosenblatt is Dean Emeritus and Professor of Law at Mississippi College School of Law, where he served as dean for 11 years.
A Cornell Law School graduate and retired Army JAG officer, he teaches Military Law, Government Contracts, and International Law. He founded Rosenblatt’s Deans Database (lawdeans.com) and has authored legal scholarship and spoken widely on judicial ethics and leadership.
Dean Rosenblatt has twice received the Mississippi Supreme Court’s Chief Justice’s Award and the AALS Deborah L. Rhode Award for pro bono advocacy. He advises several student groups and remains active in moot court judging.
Beyond the classroom, he serves as Executive Director of the MS Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and President of the Greenwood Cemetery Association, where he leads historic preservation efforts in downtown Jackson.
